My Future Career in Mass Communication

Ten years from now, I see myself as a successful professional in the field of Mass Communication, working as a journalist and media practitioner who gives voice to the people of Modakeke and beyond. My vision is to use the power of the media to inform, educate, and inspire society while promoting truth, unity, and development.

To achieve this goal, I plan to study Mass Communication at a reputable higher institution, where I will gain strong knowledge in journalism, broadcasting, public relations, and digital media. I will also participate in internships with radio stations, newspapers, and media houses around Modakeke and other parts of Nigeria to gain practical experience. Continuous learning, media training, and skill development in writing, speaking, editing, and media technology will be key steps in my journey.

The skills and values that have shaped my aspiration include good communication, curiosity, honesty, confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility. Growing up in Modakeke has exposed me to social issues that need attention, and this has motivated me to become a voice for positive change. I understand that challenges such as misinformation and pressure may arise, but with integrity, discipline, and dedication, I will overcome them.

Through Mass Communication, I hope to contribute positively to society by promoting awareness, encouraging good governance, and supporting community development in Modakeke and Nigeria at large.
