My name is Oyelakin Deborah, and my chosen career is nursing. I have chosen this career because I have a deep passion for caring for others and making a positive difference in people’s lives. From a young age, I have always felt compassion for those who are sick, weak, or in need of support. Nursing gives me the opportunity to turn that compassion into action by providing comfort, hope, and healing to patients and their families.

I am also inspired by the important role nurses play in the healthcare system. They are always at the bedside, monitoring patients, giving medications, offering encouragement, and ensuring that people receive the best possible care. Their dedication and strength motivate me to follow the same path. I believe nursing is not just a job but a calling that requires patience, kindness, and commitment.

Another reason I chose nursing is because it offers continuous learning and growth. The medical field is always advancing, and nurses have the chance to develop new skills and improve themselves through training and practice. This makes the profession both challenging and rewarding.

Most importantly, I want to contribute to a healthier society. By becoming a nurse, I can educate people about healthy habits, support communities during health crises, and save lives. I find great fulfillment in knowing that my work can change someone’s life for the better.

Choosing nursing is my way of serving humanity, and I am determined to pursue this career with passion and dedication.
