My name is Olumoyewa Bisola, and my chosen career is Dentistry. Dentistry is a respected health profession that focuses on the care of the teeth, gums, and oral cavity. It plays a vital role in maintaining overall health, as oral health is closely connected to general wellbeing.
As a future dentist, I aspire to prevent, diagnose, and treat oral diseases such as tooth decay, gum infections, and oral pain. Dentistry also involves improving people’s smiles and confidence through restorative and cosmetic procedures. This career requires skill, patience, and compassion, as dentists work closely with patients of all ages and help relieve pain while promoting healthy habits.
I chose dentistry because it combines science, healthcare, and service to humanity. Dentists have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives by educating them on proper oral hygiene and providing quality treatment. The profession also allows for continuous learning due to advancements in dental technology and techniques.
In addition, dentistry offers diverse career opportunities, including clinical practice, research, teaching, and public health service. I am motivated to work hard and develop the knowledge and skills required to become a competent and ethical dentist who will contribute meaningfully to the health of my community.
