As I reflect on my future aspiration, like everyone,I have a future dream, one profession that stands out as a beacon of hope and fulfillment ;A cardiac surgeon who is also known as cardiothoracic surgeon; is medical doctor who specializes in surgical procedures of the heart , lungs and other organs in the thoracic cavity.
My dream of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon is rooted in a passion for healing.while researching about who a cardiac surgeon is and what they do,I found out that a lot of people die as a result of heart and lung problems because there are less cardiac surgeons and less equipment to cater for their healing processes, this as well, fueled my passion of becoming one, myself (A cardiac surgeon) so as to give a helping hand in curing or healing those with problems that as to do with organs in the thoracic cavity.
Growing up,I was always down to the medical field and captivated by the complexity of the human body and the incredible advances in medical science.
After my secondary school,I have plan to apply for admission in university of my choice to study medicine and surgery.It often navigate a convoluted and heterogeneous training pathway which take at least 15-20 years in total.
After my foundation program,I would like to apply for paid specialty training to become one (cardiothoracic surgeon).
In Nigeria,it take 24-36 month of general surgery training followed by another minimum of 36-48 month of dedicated CTs training in an accredited institution after my success in the membership examination of west African college of surgeon.becoming a cardiac surgeon requires an unwavering commitment to education, training and personal growth.I am eager to embark on this challenging journey, which will demand dedication, perseverance and resilience.
As a cardiac surgeon,I envision myself working in a dynamic fast paced environment where every decision counts,I am drawn to the idea of being part of a team that work tirelessly to save lives, alleviate suffering and restore health into my society.
In conclusion, my dream of becoming a cardiac surgeon is a deeply personal and professional aspiration.It represent a commitment to excellence, compassion and to making a meaningful difference in Modakeke and Nigeria at large.I am eager to embark on this challenging and rewarding journey pursue my passion for cardiac surgeon and to become a skilled, empathetic and dedicated cardiac surgeon.
