10 years from now I envision myself in a bright clinic with my name on the door I am a dentist who finish my dental School program and built a practice that blend the latest technology with the quality dental care .
I choose this path because I still remember a dental experience from a childhood of a painful cavity that left me terrified of dental visit . Watching a kind dentist turn my fear into a peace , taught me that oral health is about trust , confidence and empathy coupled . Also , my love for science and a desire to help others sparked a promise to ensure no other child endure the same anxiety that I face .this has shaped every step I take towards this dream.
After I complete my secondary school with a strong grade point in biology , chemistry , and mathematics . my plan is to prepare for and ace the dental admission test apply to accredited dental program and secure scholarship or loan to fund my education . While studying, I will volunteer at community health fairs , shadow experience dentist and join the school science club gain hands an experience . after graduation I will complete a residency in pediatric dentistry then open my own clinic , continually improving my skills through workshop, simulation and mentorship .
I know the road will be tough , tuition cost, fierce competition , and the occasional self doubt I tackle those hurdles with discipline ,, setting a study schedule seeking mentorship , and working part time at community clinic to ease the financial strain. My resilient born from personal dental anxiety will keep me calm under pressure and I’ lean on team work whenever resource or thin .
My future practice will serve my community by providing affordable preventive care early intervention treatment and free oral health education , especially for children and old . I will host school based workshop , partner local NGO for mobile screening my unit and mentor aspiring student from my neighood . By delivering excellent in every patient encounter I hope to inspire a ripple of health and generosity that last for generation . I determine to turn my dream into a lasting legacy of healthier smiles
