Essay
‘My Dream is to Become a Soldier and serve my community. Since I was young, I have always admired the discipline, courage, and strength of soldiers. Watching them protect lives and defend the nation made me dream of becoming one someday. I want to become a soldier in the future, not just for the uniform or the pride it brings, but to make a real difference in my community and country.
As a soldier, I will help protect my country from both internal and external threats. Insecurity has become a major issue in many parts of Nigeria—kidnapping, robbery, and attacks from armed groups are common. If I become a soldier, I will help bring peace and safety to places affected by violence. This will allow children to go to school freely and farmers to work on their lands without fear.
Also, being a soldier will allow me to take part in community development. Soldiers are not just trained for war; they also help during emergencies like floods, accidents, and natural disasters. I will help rescue people, provide aid, and support rebuilding efforts
My presence in the army will also inspire other youths in my community to work hard, stay disciplined, and choose a good path in life. I will encourage them to stay away from crime and focus on education and service.
In conclusion, becoming a soldier will give me the chance to protect, serve, and inspire. My dream is not just about wearing a uniform, but about being a hero that my community can be proud of.
