As I look to the future, I am excited about the prospect of a career in Animal Science. This field offers a wide range of opportunities to make a positive impact on the world.

Animal Science is an interdisciplinary field that combines biology, genetics, nutrition, and health to improve livestock production and welfare. With the global population projected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050, the demand for animal products is increasing rapidly. As an animal scientist, I will play a critical role in meeting this demand while ensuring the well-being of animals and the environment.

I am fascinated by the advances in genomics and biotechnology that are revolutionizing the field. Gene editing tools like CRISPR/Cas9 can introduce desirable traits into livestock, improving productivity and reducing environmental impact. I am eager to contribute to the development of novel feed ingredients, such as insect-based proteins and algae, that are sustainable and nutritious.
