Becoming a nurse is a caring and respected job that helps sick people every day.
First, finish high school with good grades in science subjects like biology and chemistry. These help you understand the human body.
After high school, you have different paths:
• Some choose a 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Others do a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Many hospitals now prefer BSN nurses.
Next, you must pass the NCLEX-RN exam. This big test shows you are ready and safe to care for patients.
Nursing school is hard. You study in classrooms and practice in real hospitals. You learn to give medicine, check vital signs, and comfort patients.
When you pass the exam, you become a Registered Nurse (RN). You can work in hospitals, clinics, schools, or even homes.
Nurses work long hours, sometimes at night, but they make a real difference. They save lives, hold hands, and bring hope.
If you are kind, calm in emergencies, and love helping people, nursing is a wonderful job. It needs study and heart, but it gives you a life full of meaning.
