My name is Rokibat Salahudeen, and I have chosen Pharmacy as my future career because I am passionate about health, science, and helping people live better lives. Pharmacy is a profession that focuses on the safe use of medicines, the prevention of diseases, and the improvement of overall health. I am inspired by the important role pharmacists play in supporting patients, guiding them on the correct use of medications, and contributing to a healthier society.
One major reason I chose pharmacy is my interest in understanding how drugs work in the body. I have always been curious about how medicines cure illnesses, relieve pain, and save lives. Studying pharmacy will give me the knowledge and skills to help people recover from sickness and maintain good health. This combination of science and service makes the profession meaningful to me.
I also love that pharmacists are trusted members of the community. They provide advice, answer questions, and offer comfort to people who are worried about their health. I want to be a professional who people can rely on—someone who gives accurate information, shows kindness, and helps patients make the right decisions about their health.
Pharmacy also offers many career opportunities in community practice, hospitals, drug manufacturing, public health, and research. This makes the profession exciting and full of possibilities for growth.
Most importantly, pharmacy aligns with my desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Through this career, I hope to serve my community, promote good health, and contribute to a better and safer healthcare system.
