Essay
My name is Mustapha Habitat, and my chosen career is Pharmacy.
I chose pharmacy because it is a profession that plays a vital role in healthcare by ensuring that patients receive the right medications and proper guidance on how to use them. I have always been interested in how medicines work in the body, how they cure diseases, and how pharmacists help people stay healthy and safe.
Pharmacy attracts me because it combines science, care, and responsibility. Pharmacists do more than just provide drugs—they educate patients, prevent medication errors, and contribute to improving public health. This opportunity to impact lives positively motivates me to pursue this path.
I also chose pharmacy because it offers continuous learning. New medicines, new discoveries, and new treatment methods are developed every day, and being a pharmacist means staying updated and growing professionally. The field provides many opportunities to specialize, whether in hospital pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, community pharmacy, or research.
Most importantly, I want a career where I can help people directly. Guiding someone on the correct use of medication or helping them understand their treatment gives me joy. Pharmacy is a noble profession, and I am proud to follow this rewarding path.
