Building a Better World: My Vision as a Civil Engineer
When we look around our cities, we see more than just concrete; we see the literal backbone of society. My vision is to become a Civil Engineer who designs sustainable and resilient infrastructure that improves the lives of everyday people. I don’t just want to build roads; I want to build pathways to a better future.
My Roadmap to Success
To achieve this, I have a clear three-step plan:
Academic Foundation: My first priority is to graduate with a strong degree in Civil Engineering. I will focus on mastering Structural Analysis and Geotechnics to ensure I understand how to make buildings safe and durable.
Practical Experience: During my university years, I will seek internships with reputable construction firms. Learning on a real construction site is the only way to bridge the gap between classroom theory and physical reality.
Professional Certification: After graduation, I will work toward becoming a Registered Engineer. This license will allow me to lead major projects and ensure they meet international safety standards.

The Impact
I aspire to solve real-world problems, such as urban flooding and poor road networks. By using eco-friendly materials like “green concrete,” I hope to reduce the environmental footprint of our cities. Ultimately, my goal is to create infrastructure that is not only strong but also inclusive—ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to clean water and safe bridges mostly in my home town akoraye modakeke so help me God.
