Essay
Everyone has a dream of what they want to become in life. For me, that dream is to become a nurse. Nursing is not just a job; it is a life of service, care, and compassion. I want to become a nurse because I believe it is one of the best ways to help people directly, especially in times of pain, sickness, and uncertainty.
In many communities, including mine, there is a shortage of trained health workers, and people suffer due to a lack of proper medical care. As a nurse, I will be trained to assist doctors, monitor patients, and give treatments, but most importantly, I will be there to comfort and care for people in need. A nurse gives hope and strength, even when situations seem hopeless. I want to be that person for others.
My dream is not just about wearing the uniform — it is about touching lives. I plan to use my skills not only in hospitals but also by organizing health education in rural areas. I will teach people about hygiene, healthy living, and how to prevent diseases like malaria, cholera, and infections. This will help reduce sickness and improve the overall health of the community.By becoming a nurse, I also hope to inspire young people, especially girls, to aim high and work hard for their dreams. I believe that when one person rises, they can lift others too. Nursing is my way of lifting my community.
