Essay
My name is Badmus Rodiyat. I am in SSS3, attending Holy Spirit Catholic High School Modakeke. In the next six years, I see myself becoming a nurse. I loved to be a nurse to save people’s life. When I finished secondary school education, I wish to score highest mark and meet the cut off mark for studying nursing and I wish to score 300 and above in my JAMB and I also wish to do well in my O level and I will work for it because adage say don’t wish for it, work for it.
I loved to become a nurse in the future not because of their dressing and also not because of the name they called them, but to save people’s life. I remember the day I visited the hospital and there is an emergency, the nurse quickly leave what they are doing not because of two things but to save the patient life, the life of patient is important to them that when they rush patient to the hospital, they start treatment on them immediately. I also loved to be a nurse because nurse is like a person that God sent to heal people.
The reason why nurse appeals to me much more than other courses is because I see myself as a visual learner, so watching things, reading and listening helps me to learn more. I am confident that with hard work and dedication, I will achieve my goal of becoming a nurse and make a positive impact on people’s lives. I am excited to learn more about the nursing profession and contribute to the healthcare sector in Nigeria.
